KCEC Educational Center
The primary purpose as to why Srila Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of ISKCON, started this movement is Education. He formulated the vision statement as follows, To systematically propagate spiritual knowledge to society at large and to educate all people in the techniques of spiritual life in order to check the imbalance of values in life and to achieve real unity and peace in the world.
The Educational Center of KCEC is geared towards fulfilling this vision of Srila Prabhupada.
Education has its roots in the word ‘Educare’, which means ‘to bring out’ and/or also ‘to mould’. Understanding the true purpose of education, KCEC Educational Center’s approach is unique and out of the box. From teaching through exhibits and museum to one-one training, it offers all flavours of education in its true sense of term
Vedic Library
The Vedic library would be a treasure trove for anyone who is interested to immerse himself/herself in reading about the glorious historical accounts of the past.
The library would be constructed with an eye for acoustics to give a very peaceful meditative ambience to read. The Vedic library would have a digital catalogue of all its books categorized by title, author, year of publication, etc.
Exhibit
The main purpose of the exhibit is to educate people about the history of India, while at the same time translating the past in a way which is relevant to the present.
The exhibits would range from

- Diorama based graphic presentation
- An immersive experience
- Life-size exhibits & more
This kind of diorama based exhibit would be a first of its kind for the city of Kovai. The exhibits would be showcasing the characters and passages from Ramayana, Mahabharata, Srimad Bhagavatam, Srimad Bhagavad Gita, and other scriptures. A visitor to exhibit would leave with an experience of having met a real-life persona of the characters displayed
Museum
The Museum at KCEC hopes to show some of the historical aspects of Sanatana dharma through
- A stunning gallery consisting of rare paintings
- Artefacts from the past
- Ancient writings and many other such historical items.
Most of the museum’s passages and walls would be bedecked with passages from Srimad Bhagavatam, Mahabharata, Ramayana and Bhagavad Gita.
The Museum would be a state-of-the-art one which would provide a visitor a tranquil transportive experience into the past where the actual passages depicted in the museum’s chambers come alive in front of the visitor.
The lives of great saints and special happenings in their lives would also be portrayed to make a visitor truly appreciate the sacrifices of the great men and women of the past to the further the cause of Sanatana dharma
Value Education
In a world where values and character are fast dying and considered irrelevant, take a minute to ponder the words of one of the finest financial minds – JP Morgan. ‘Money equals business which equals power, all of which come from character and trust. The first thing is character…before money or anything else. Money cannot buy it.’ Great edifices, eminent personalities have become nowhere when their empires or personalities are not built upon the foundation of principles and values. At KCEC Educational centre, our motto is education with values. While there are numerous institutions which teach the 3Rs, the Kids Value Education Centre at KCEC has set its focus on imparting the most important education – the values and principles which would define the personality of the student and shape him up as a good citizen. KCEC Kids Value Education Center would like to redefine the 3Rs as Relationship, Responsibility and Spirituality.
